"A Tryst in the Forest"

"A Tryst in the Forest" c2006

This painting is all about color, texture, and movement. I was inspired by some of the beautiful colors on the leaves here this fall. Now, most of the leaves are gone, aside from the evergreens, and we're heading into what is predicted to be a pretty harsh winter, for us anyway.

I find myself missing the vibrant oranges, yellows, reds and browns as I drive my daughter to preschool, though I am enjoying the holiday lights that are springing up on the houses in our neighborhood.

The piece is two panels, total size 20x32, (each panel is 20x16), gallery wrapped edges painted black.
