"Strength" c2006
This painting is one of a series I worked on while my dad was recovering from heart surgery. He's a Leo, and a pretty typically proud one at that. Recovery hasn't been very easy on him.
Since we live 2000 miles apart, painting these lions is my way of keeping him in my thoughts, and at the same time, giving myself something to do so I won't go crazy!
This piece is up for auction, it's a 16x20 stretched canvas, and it comes framed, ready to hang.
